SDDBD Error Messages
SDDBD ERROR MESSAGES (2601–2821)
2730 MESSAGE: Unknown IMAGE data item type (SDERR 2730)
CAUSE: An invalid data item type was found on an IMAGE data item.
ACTION: Notify the Database Administrator.
2731 MESSAGE: Error while retrieving master set’s key item (MODE 302, SDERR 2731)
CAUSE: The password and open mode with which the IMAGE database was opened does
not give access to the manual set's key item. (DBINFO mode 302)
ACTION: Open the database as the creator or with a password which allows access to all
items and data sets. In addition, certain IMAGE open modes allowing read access only
restricts access to items, whereas the IMAGE open modes allowing write access relaxes
the restrictions. If the current open mode seems to cause this problem, reopen the data
base in an open mode that gives you access to the key item.
2732 MESSAGE: Error while retrieving data set's path list (MODE 301, SDERR 2732)
CAUSE: An IMAGE/V error has been encountered in retrieving a list of paths for a data set.
(DBINFO mode 301)
ACTION: Notify the Database Administrator.
2733 MESSAGE: Security violation (SDERR 2733). Cannot access file !
CAUSE: The master data set related to an IMAGE path is not available to you.
ACTION: Reopen the database with a password that has an access to the data set and
reload the definitions.
2734 MESSAGE: Error while retrieving detail set’s primary path (MODE 302,
SDERR 2734)
CAUSE: The password and open mode with which the IMAGE database was opened does
not give access to the data set's primary path information. (DBINFO mode 302)
ACTION: Open the database as the creator or with a password which allows access to all
items and data sets. In addition, certain IMAGE open modes allowing read access only
restricts access to items, whereas the IMAGE open modes allowing write access relaxes
the restrictions. If the current open mode seems to cause this problem, reopen the
database with an open mode that grants you more access.
2735 MESSAGE: Error while opening old SDLOG. Logging disabled (SDERR 2735)
CAUSE: An MPE file system error was detected when attempting to open the existing
SDLOG file.
ACTION: The commands you enter will not be logged, as the logging is disabled. If the
command logging is important, exit the program immediately, take care of the problem,
and reenter SDDBD. If a more serious problem is suspected, notify the System Manager.
