SDDBD Error Messages
SDDBD ERROR MESSAGES (2601–2821)
ACTION: Notify the System Manager.
2797 MESSAGE: Entity ! inaccessible or owned by other scope in other version
(SDERR 2797)
CAUSE: The entity exists and you do not have read access to it.
ACTION: None necessary. SDDBD will use the OPTION parameter of the IMAGE
command to determine what to do.
CAUSE: The entity exists in another version of the domain and is owned by a different
scope.
ACTION: None necessary. SDDBD will use the OPTION parameter of the IMAGE
command to determine what to do.
2799 MESSAGE: SDDBD version incompatible with that of SD intrinsics (SDERR 2799)
CAUSE: The program’s version number is different from the intrinsic's version.
ACTION: Notify the Dictionary Administrator.
2800 MESSAGE: Program aborts due to too many errors (SDERR 2800)
CAUSE: The program detected the number of errors specified through the run-option.
ACTION: Check your input and see where the errors have occurred.
2801 MESSAGE: $STDINX open error. Program is aborted (SDERR 2801)
CAUSE: An error occurred while opening $STDINX.
ACTION: If the STDIN = clause was issued on the RUN command, see if the file equated to
STDIN actually exists and if the file is not being exclusively accessed by some other user. If
a serious problem is suspected, notify the System Manager.
2802 MESSAGE: Error while reading from input file. Program aborted (SDERR 2802)
CAUSE: A disc error occurred while reading from the program input file.
ACTION: Check the file system error message. Notify the System Manager if a serious
problem is suspected.
2803 MESSAGE: Premature EOF reached on input file. Program aborted (SDERR 2803)
CAUSE: The EOF is found while reading on the input file.
ACTION: Edit SDIN file to correct the problem. Be sure to include the EXIT command
before the EOF.
2804 MESSAGE: Error while writing to SDLOG. Program aborted (SDERR 2804)
CAUSE: A disc error occurred while writing to SDLOG.
ACTION: Check the file system error message given. See if the disc is full. If a serious
problem is suspected, notify the System Manager.
2805 MESSAGE: Error while closing SDLOG. Program aborted (SDERR 2805)
CAUSE: A disc error occurred while closing SDLOG.
ACTION: Check the file system error message. Notify the System Manager if a serious disc
error is suspected.
