• Look for individual client log files in
/usr/local/samba/var/log.*
• debug level = 2 needed to see failed authentication
attempts (but also gives successful file open/close info)
• log file = /usr/local/samba/var/log.%I to log by
client IP address instead of worthless client NetBIOS
name
