Terminate passwords when terminating
employees
• Revoke or change passwords as soon as possible after
the last day of employment
• But short of using mental telepathy, how do you know
which passwords an employee knows?
• You may never know the full password list if informal
password sharing is occurring
• Do you change EVERY password if you terminate the
system manager?
