PCI LAPBMUX Link Error Messages
SDI Driver Specific Status Values
5040 CLAS0001 MESSAGE: A data buffer is too long.
CAUSE: During the receive, the driver got a receive buffer of length
greater than the configured value in NMMGR. (“Cause” = 32-bit total
length of the requested transmission).
ACTION: Try to check the NMMGR configuration. Try to set the buffer
size greater than 2048 for SDLCMUX link. If the problem persists, first
activate link tracing, reproduce the problem, stop tracing, and save the
resulting link trace file. Then see Appendix A , “Submitting a CR.
5080 CLAS0001 MESSAGE: Driver encountered a hardware problem.
CAUSE: This is a generic hardware error, reported by firmware when
any of the driver’s hardware interface routines tries to start the
protocol firmware. By itself it is not descriptive of the problem. This
error is often seen as a result of firmware crash.
ACTION: If this problems happens repeatedly, then halt the system,
take a memory dump, and reboot, see Appendix A , “Submitting a CR.
5120 CLAS0001 MESSAGE: Driver encountered a hardware problem.
CAUSE: This is a generic hardware error, reported by firmware when
any of the driver’s hardware interface routines tries to configure the
ports on the card. By itself it is not descriptive of the problem. This
error is often seen as a result of firmware crash.
ACTION: If this problems happens repeatedly, then halt the system,
take a memory dump, and reboot, see Appendix A , “Submitting a CR.
5160 CLAS0001 MESSAGE: Driver encountered a hardware problem.
CAUSE: This is a generic hardware error, reported by firmware when
any of the driver’s hardware interface routines tries to configure the
port with the protocol configurations on the card. By itself it is not
descriptive of the problem. This error is often seen as a result of
firmware crash.
ACTION: If this problems happens repeatedly, then halt the system,
take a memory dump, and reboot, see Appendix A , “Submitting a CR.
5200 CLAS0001 MESSAGE: Driver encountered a hardware problem.
CAUSE: This is a generic hardware error, reported by firmware when
any of the driver’s hardware interface routines tries to start the
protocol (level-1)on the ports. By itself it is not descriptive of the
problem. This error is often seen as a result of firmware crash.
ACTION: If this problems happens repeatedly, then halt the system,
take a memory dump, and reboot, see Appendix A , “Submitting a CR.
5240 CLAS0001 MESSAGE: Driver encountered a hardware problem.
CAUSE: This is a generic hardware error, reported by firmware when
any of the driver’s hardware interface routines tries to stop the protocol
