Point-to-Point (Router) Network Interface Conﬁguration Screens

Neighbor Gateways

The Neighbor Gateways screen (#152) in Figure 6-11 is displayed when

you press the

[Go To INTERNET] function key at the Point-to-Point Network

Interface Conﬁguration screen (Figure 6-3). It is also displayed when

you type the path name:

@NETXPORT.NI.

NIname

.INTERNET

in the Command window of any screen and press the

[Enter] key, where

the NIname is a conﬁgured point-to-point NI.

Use this screen, and the screens that follow it, to identify the gateways

on this network. Use the ﬁelds and the function keys of this select

screen to perform the desired action as follows:

• To identify a new gateway, specify the gateway name; then press the

[Add] function key. The path for the selected gateway name is added

to the conﬁguration ﬁle, and the data screen on the path is

displayed. Up to 164 gateways are supported per link.

• To modify an existing gateway identiﬁcation, specify the gateway

name, then press the

[Modify] function key. The data screen on the

path for the speciﬁed gateway is displayed.
