X.25 Network Interface Configuration

Number of
outbound buffers
(Required.) Enter the number of buffers that are
allocated to the X.25 network interface.
If direct level 3 access is being used, or large (over
5000 bytes) blocks of data are being sent, or multiple
no-wait sends are being issued, then more buffers may
be needed. Logging location code 174, CLAS0003, tells
you that the X.25 subsystem does not have enough
buffers, in which case you can increase the number of
outbound buffers. (If the outbound buffers are
exhausted, the transport will continue to function, but
at a significantly reduced efficiency.)
