Network Transport Configuration Screens
Global Transport Configuration
Global Transport Configuration
The Global Transport Configuration screen (#86) in Figure 4-3 is
displayed when you press the
[Go To GLOBAL] function key at the Network
Transport Configuration Selection screen (Figure 4-2). It is also
displayed when you type the path name:
@NETXPORT.GLOBAL
in the command window of any screen and press the [Enter] key.

This screen lets you enter information that is used for transferring
information between nodes. Press the
[Save Data] function key to transfer
the data displayed on the screen to the configuration file you are
creating or updating. Verify that the data record has been created by
checking that the Data flag is set to Y.

Home network
name Leave this field blank if there are no gateway half
network interfaces configured and this node will be on
only a single network. Otherwise, enter the network
interface (NI) name of the network that this node will
usually be on.
