General X.25 Conﬁguration

Fields Inactivity timer for IP connections (in seconds)

(Required.) Enter a number of seconds after which

any inactive switched virtual circuits (SVC) being used

for TCP/IP connections are automatically disconnected.

If no inactivity timer is to be set, enter a 0 in this ﬁeld.

It is best to set this timer at more than two times the

value of the TCP connection assurance timer. This

keeps the X.25 virtual circuit for a remote session

active, even when no user data is being transferred.

Default value: 1210

Range: 0, 30–32767
