Chapter 1 19
Overview
Using the Path Name
Using the Path Name
The path name is used to go directly to a given screen. A path name
may include one or more of the following variables:
• NIname is the name of the network interface you want to modify.
• linkname is the name of the link you want to modify.
• gatewayn is the name of the gateway you want to modify.
• mapentry is the name of the entry you want to modify in the router
mapping table.
• fsetname is the name of the X.25 facility set you want to modify.
The path name is specified with each screen in this manual. To use a
path name to go directly to a screen, type the path name preceded by an
“@” in the command window and press the
[Enter] key. For example, to
go directly to the screen that contains the parameters for the X.25
facility set called “MySet” for the NI called “MyX25NI,” you would type
the following: @NETXPORT.NI.MyX25NI.PROTOCOL.X25.FACSET.MySet
