Direct Connect Link Configuration
Fields Start device on network initialization (Y/N)
A Y (Yes) value means that the device is to be started
when a NETCONTROL START command is issued for the
network interface being configured. An N (No) means
that a NETCONTROL ADDLINK command must be used to
start the device.
Default value: Y
Range: Y or N
Enable idle device timer (Y/N)
This field specifies whether the device is to be
disconnected automatically if no packets have been
received or transmitted over the link during a specified
time period. This field is relevant only if a timeout
value has been entered in the network interface screen
(see Related screens).
