3 Link Configuration Screens
Link configuration screens are used to define a link from the HP e3000
to a network. The first screen, Link Selection, allows you to define a
link of type LAN, LAP-B (point-to-point), X.25, TOKEN, FDDI,
100VG-AnyLAN, or 100Base-T. A screen is then displayed that allows
you to configure operating parameters for the link type that you select.
The links defined and configured in these screens must match the links
defined later when configuring the network interface (path name
NETXPORT.NI.NIname.LINK) in the following chapters.
Figure 3-1 shows the screen flow of the link selection screens. Screens
unique to the link selection are indicated by bold boxed screens.
[FUNCTION] denotes the function key used at a screen to invoke the next
screen on the screen flow.
