LAN Network Interface Configuration Screens
Probe Protocol Configuration
Proxy requests retransmission timeout (seconds)
The time interval in seconds that the probe protocol
will wait for a reply before attempting to retransmit a
proxy request. The value should be set sufficiently large
to avoid retransmissions in a temporarily overloaded
environment, yet small enough to get a timely failure
report when failure is inevitable. The default value is
set somewhat higher than for probe requests timeout
because proxy requests involve a network directory
lookup and consequently more time than regular probe
requests.
Default value: 4
Range: 1–10
