This appendix describes the supported hardware, firmware, and software for the HP ProLiant Server
Management Pack (v 1.80) for System Center.
HP SCOM Management Packs support
The HP ProLiant Server Management Pack 1.x for System Center integrates with Microsoft System
Center Operations Manager (SCOM).

The following sections describe support information for the HP ProLiant Server Management Pack
1.x and the associated installation features.
NOTE: The HP ProLiant Server Management Pack 1.x is English only. However, the installation
features and managed Windows servers may run other language versions of Microsoft Windows
including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.
HP ProLiant Server Management Pack (v 1.80) for System Center
NOTE: This management pack is not required if you are using the HP ProLiant Server Management
Pack (2.0 or later) for System Center.

The SCOM environment must have one of the following

The managed computers must be running one of the
following operating systems:

• Windows Server 2003 R2 x86/x64
• Windows Server 2008 x86/x64 (including Server Core)
• Windows Server 2008 R2/SP1 (including Server Core)
• Windows Server 2012
• Windows Server 2012 R2
NOTE: Update independent.
The managed computers must have at least one of the
following products installed from HP ProLiant Support Pack
Service Pack for ProLiant
versions 8.00 through 9.10 or HP Service Pack for ProLiant
versions 2012.2.0 through 2014.02:
• HP Insight Management Agents (required for
SNMP-based management)
• HP Insight Management WBEM Providers (required for
WMI-based management)
