NOTE: The HP Storage Used value might differ from the HP Storage Provisioned value if
thin provisioning or demand-allocated snapshots are used.
• HP Storage Available in Pool:
P9000 or XP: Amount of available storage in the P9000 or XP Thin Provisioning storage
pool for P9000 or XP array storage that is provisioned to this cluster

◦ P6000 EVA or P4000: Amount of available storage in P6000 EVA and P4000 array
storage pools provisioned to this cluster
Storage Arrays
The Storage Arrays section lists the arrays that present disks to the selected cluster.
TIP: To start the array management software, click the management software link (if available).
Viewing detailed information
Click the Storage Disks, HBAs, Paths, Replications, or View All tab to view detailed information
about the selected cluster. For information about the values displayed in these tabs, see the following:
• “Viewing storage disks” (page 42)
• “Viewing HBAs” (page 44)
• “Viewing paths” (page 44)
• “Viewing replications” (page 47)
• “Viewing all VMs associated with a host or cluster” (page 47)
Viewing storage information for a datastore
To view information about datastore storage availability and use:
1. Navigate to the Datastores Inventory view.
2. Select a datastore in the inventory tree.
3. Click the HP Insight Software tab.
4. Click Storage Overview in the Storage Information section of the HP Management pane.
The Storage Overview of Datastore datastore name page appears.
Viewing summary information
The Storage Overview of Datastore page displays the following information about the selected
datastore:
Provisioned by Datastore
• Datastore Free: Amount of available storage on the datastore
• Datastore Used: Amount of storage used by the datastore
• Datastore Total: Total amount of storage available to the datastore
• VMDK Provisioned: Amount of storage on this datastore that is provisioned by VMDKs or
RDMs
• VMDK Used: Amount of storage on this datastore that is used by VMDKs or RDMs
Provisioned to Datastore
• HP Storage Provisioned: Amount of storage available to the datastore from HP storage arrays
• HP Storage Used: Amount of storage from HP storage arrays that is used by the datastore
• HP Storage Available in Pools: Amount of HP storage available in storage pools
