Switching to Limited Access Mode
Prerequisites
FSE processes on the FSE server and the FSE client must be running.
The HSM file system must be operating in FAM.
To switch the HSM file system access to LAM, use the following command. Use the name of the
corresponding disk volume:

Limited Access Mode error messages
When an HSM file system is operating in Limited Access Mode, if access to an offline file or modification
of HSM FS contents is denied to a third-party application, the application displays its own error message.
Different applications therefore report different error messages.
Command prompt (after the Windows’ native copy command is invoked)
Windows Explorer (after an offline file is pasted or dragged over to another location)

Monitoring FSE jobs
The fsejob command is used to view the details of running FSE jobs, change their priorities and abort
them.
You can list FSE jobs by running the fsejob --list or fsejob --list --detail command to
check running jobs or to get a particular job ID.
As shown in the example, the output is the following:
the job ID
the corresponding partition name
the job type
the job priority
the time when the job was started
the current status of the job
You can use the --list option followed by the job type command, for example --migration, to
narrow your search and view only jobs of a particular type.
