Description Though a reorganizational scan fails, the volume status is changed from 'full, scanned' to 'full'
Explanation In cases when the reorganization fails while reading data from a source medium volume (due
to a medium or hardware error, for example), the medium volume's flag "scanned" is cleared
even though the reorganizational scan results are still valid.
Workaround Run the reorganizational scan again after the cause of the failure is resolved.
Description Medium unusable after recreation of corrupted FRI file.
Explanation The FRI file is damaged such that the length is not a multiple of block size. The fsecheck
command is used to recreate the corrupted FRI but after the recreation, the medium is left in an
unusable state.
Workaround Mark medium as good and continue.
Description A reorganizational scan fails with the following message: "Volume {VOLID} has already status
73 set"
Explanation This occurs when the reorganization has already finished writing to a target medium volume
and was then aborted or terminated with the medium volume staying in the state "recycled".
Workaround Run the fsemedium --init command for recycled volumes. The source volume's content has
already been copied to the target medium and the medium can be initialized.
