The Server menu
The menu items of the Server menu are listed and described in the following table.
The Tools menu
The menu items of the Tools menu are listed and described in the following table.
Menu item (action) Action description
New Connection Opens the Connection window where you can specify connection settings and
create a new connection to an FSE implementation:
• Name: specifies a descriptive name for the connection. This name
identifies the remote FSE Management Console server system in the object
tree.
• Online system: specifies that the connection is established to an online
FSE implementation, and the FSE Management Console client is in the
online operational mode.
• Offline configuration: specifies that the FSE Management Console client is
in the offline operational mode, without connecting.
When this option is enabled, other connection settings are made
unavailable.
• Hostname: specifies the host name or IP address of the system running the
FSE Management Console server.
• User: specifies the name of the user logging in to the FSE Management
Console server. The user name must be available in the user database of
the FSE Management Console server in order to be able to establish the
connection.
The default user name is admin.
• Password: specifies the user password.
The password for the default user is an empty string.
• Reconnect automatically: specifies if the FSE Management Console client
should try to reconnect automatically in case the connection is
unexpectedly terminated.
• Remember password: specifies if the FSE Management Console client
should cache the password and not ask for it on subsequent
reconnections.
Connect Establishes the connection with the selected FSE Management Console server.
Disconnect Closes the connection with the selected FSE Management Console server.
Remove Server Removes the selected system from the object tree.
Exit Closes the FSE Management Console client.
