54 Configuring FSE
Library Library objects. Displays a submenu with the menu items:
•Rescan
• Update
Partition Partition objects. Displays a submenu with the menu items:
•Trigger Deletion
•Check Medium
•Check FS
•Recover FSC
•Recover FS
•Reorg-Scan
Job Jobs objects. Displays a submenu with the menu items:
• Change Priority
•Abort
Volumes Medium volume
objects.
Displays a submenu with the menu items:
•Reorganize
•Close
Configuration Library, drive, partition,
and media pool
objects.
Opens the Configuration window for the selected object,
in which you can modify its configuration.
Delete object System, library, drive,
media pool, partition,
and user objects.
Removes the selected object from the object tree.
Configuration File Library, drive, partition,
and media pool
objects.
Opens the configuration file for the selected object and
displays it in the Configuration window.
The configuration file can be saved to disk. The comments
describe values that you can enter into the corresponding
fields.
Write all config files System objects. Saves all configuration files for all objects in object tree to
local disk.
Change Password System objects. Open the Changing Password window where you can
change password for the current user.
Settings This menu item is
enabled globally.
Opens the Settings window where you can modify the
following FSE Management Console client settings.
• Confirmation on configuration changes: controls
whether a confirmation dialog box appears after
each configuration change.
• Job property window on job start-up: specifies if
the Properties window is displayed for the job at
job startup.
• Media slackspace calculation: enables or disables
calculation and display of the average slack space
on the selected FSE medium.
• Reconnect timeout: defines the automatic
reconnect time period in seconds (the default value
is 300 s).
