2.6 NAME
fsefile Manage files on an HSM file system. Recall older file generations from
FSE media. Add files to migration candidate list. Release files from HSM file
system. Trigger migration on an FSE partition. Trigger deletion of files from an
HSM file system.

2.6.2 DESCRIPTION
This FSE command manages files on an HSM file system, which belongs to a
particular FSE partition. It is used to perform these FSE administrator’s tasks:
show file ID and current status of a file on an HSM file system,
show history with information about older migrated generations of a file on
an HSM file system,
explicitly recall a file from FSE media to HSM file system,
