If any of these problems are encountered:
1. Verify that only the required RTE version is installed on the host.
2. Remove any other versions, if necessary.
3. Try a different browser version, if the problem persists.
In most cases, these browser/RTE combinations display the EVM GUI correctly.
However, variations in browser and Java technology on the various platforms can
cause some GUI elements to display incorrectly. For best results, HP recommends
using a Microsoft Windows platform from which to browse to the EVM GUI.
LSM Is Not Supported
This release of the EVM host agent does not support the Tru64 UNIX Logical Storage
Manager (LSM). EVM can coexist with LSM, but any volumes that are based on an
LSM disk group cannot be used for replication. LSM support will be added in a future
release.
AdvFS Domain Is the Minimum Unit of Replication
Specifying either a single fileset or an entire domain as the replication source results in
the entire domain being copied. Because an AdvFS domain is essentially a “pool” of
storage that can be spread across many different disks, a method does not exist that
can determine which disks contain the data for a given fileset. The only way to reliably
copy fileset data is to copy all of the disks that comprise the domain.
No More Than 128 Filesets per Domain
This EVM host agent supports up to 128 filesets per AdvFS domain.
One AdvFS Domain per Job
This EVM host agent supports one AdvFS domain per EVM job. Replicating multiple
domains requires the use of multiple EVM jobs.
