conflict between libc and libnuma on handling errors from the numa_syscalls
system call. For example, an mfs request that fails due to insufficient memory
should report back a failure message but instead triggers a segfault in the caller.
• Resolves a problem that could cause rexec() to hang.
• Provides a switch that allows users to specify a port number for mountd.
