6. Click the plus sign to expand the host icon. When expanded, the Navigation Window
displays an icon for the storage subsystem. To access the Storage Window for the
subsystem, double-click the Storage Window icon.

NOTE: You can create virtual disks by using the Storage Window. For more information on the
Storage Window, refer to Compaq StorageWorks Command Console Version 2.4 User Guide.
Removing the Command Console Client
Before you remove the Command Console Client, remove AES. This will prevent the
system from reporting that a service failed to start every time the system is started. Steps 2
through 5 describe how to remove the Command Console Client.
NOTE: When removing the Command Console Client, the SWCC2.MDB file is deleted. This file
contains the Navigation Tree configuration. If you want to save this information, move the file to
another directory.
1. Click Start > Programs > Command Prompt and change to the directory to which you
installed the Command Console Client.
2. Enter the following command:
C:\Program Files\Compaq\SWCC> AsyncEventService -remove
