6 Description
The HB FC HBA profile describes behavior of Fibre Channel host adapters supporting the SCSI (FCP)
command set. A Fibre Channel adapter used in a host system is called a Host Bus Adapter. An HBA is a
physical device that contains one or more Fibre Channel ports. A single system contains one or more
HBAs.
