NOTE:
For Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2, Multipath I/O is provided as an inbox
feature and the version numbers for mpio.sys, mpdev.sys and mpspfltr are not applicable for the
same.
Check with Microsoft for Multipath I/O feature updates on Windows Server 2008 and Windows
Server 2008 R2.
On Windows Server 2003, minimum MPIO framework version supported on this DSM is 1.20.
Known issues and limitations
Cluster Shared Volume (CSV) feature which is a part of Failover cluster, is not supported on Win-
dows Server 2008 R2
Path performance statistics may not be displayed correctly for systems running on Windows
Server 2008 and later
The path states for XP disk devices may not be displayed correctly in the MPIO tab
