Managing multipath disk devices
Microsoft provides a generic user interface to manage the disk devices that are controlled by MPIO. This
interface, which can be accessed through the Multi-Path Disk Device Properties page, under the MPIO
tab, enables you to perform basic disk and path management. Figure 4 shows the Multi-Path Disk
Device Properties page. H P MPIO MSA DSM supports the management infrastructure of the MPIO tab
for features that are ap plicable to the HP DSM.
To ma nag e the Multi-Path Disk D evice through this interface, complete the following steps:
1. Go to Device Manag e r and select the M PIO manag ed device identified by Multi-Path Disk device.
2. Right-click and select Properties. The Multi-Path Disk Device Properties page d isplays.
