DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
READ ALL PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS BEFORE USE.
WHY YOU SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT:
This product lowers the pH and total alkalinity of swimming pool water. The ideal pH range is 7.2 - 7.8. Maintaining pH in
the proper range will allow your sanitizer to work more effectively, reduce equipment corrosion, reduce eye irritation and
skin dryness. Reduce pH drift by testing the total alkalinity each week and maintaining it between 60 and 120 ppm.
For crystal clear pool water, follow our HTH
®
4 step pool care program: Step 1: Test and adjust pool water balance, Step
2: Sanitize, Step 3: Shock treat your pool at least once a week, and Step 4: Add algaecide regularly.
WATER BALANCE:
Adjust and maintain pool water to recommended ranges:
NOTE: Follow label directions for each product and allow each product to dissolve and disperse before
adding additional products to the pool. Always check and adjust total alkalinity before adjusting pH levels.
HOW TO USE:
To Lower pH
1. Adjust total alkalinity of pool water rst to prevent pH drift.
2. Measure pH of pool water with an
HTH
®
test kit or test strips.
3. The pH should be measured each time a sanitizer is added.
4. Use the table below to determine the correct dosage.
How to Add This Product to Your Pool
1. Broadcast this product over the deepest part of the pool.
2. Keep the circulation pump running.
3. Check pH again after 2 hours.
4. Repeat treatment if necessary.
If Alkalinity is High:
1. To lower alkalinity 10 ppm, add 2lbs. of this product per 10,000 gallons.
2. Scatter this product over the pool surface.
3. Keep the circulation pump running.
4. Do not apply near walls and metal xtures.
5. Repeat each day until desired alkalinity is reached.
STORAGE & DISPOSAL:
Keep dry and in original container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Do not
store with chlorine, bromine, or oxidizing agents. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Do not contaminate food or feed by
storage, disposal or cleaning of equipment. Use entire contents, then triple rinse and offer for recycling, or dispose in accordance with
state and local regulations. Do not reuse empty container.
