Before installing, be sure to read and be familiar with
the following instruction procedures. All installations
must comply with applicable local, National Electrical
Codes and/or Canadian Electrical Code.
The Duraloy 7 Series consists of 10 separate models,
either Aluminum or Iron type. The function of the
conduit body is to provide access to conductors for
pulling, splicing and maintenance per NEC regulation
standards.
DIRECTIONS FOR INSTALLATION
WARNING: Electrical power supply MUST BE OFF
Before and during installation and maintenance.
1. Do not use this equipment for any application other
than the intended use as specied per certied UL
or CSA les and their ratings.
2. Turn OFF the supplying circuit before beginning
installation or performing any maintenance. With
power turned off, service must be done in non-
hazardous atmosphere.
3. If a gasket is required, ensure tight seal between
conduit body and cover.
4. The connecting conduit and ttings shall be made
wrench tight to prevent sparking when fault current
ows through the conduit system. The threaded
connection must exist to ensure the integrity of the
conduit system.
