Use wood screws (included) when securing to support structure with approved electrical outlet box. Drill 9/64” pilot holes in support structure to aid in securing ceiling plate with hardware found in the hardware bag.
Top Housing www.HunterFan.com Top Housing Trim Ring Canopy Adapter Adapter Thread the wires through the top housing. 1.888.830.1326 Place the top housing onto the motor housing so that the holes in the top housing lineup with the holes in the motor housing and the adapter. Ensure all four screw holes line up with the screw holes in both the top housing and the adapter.

Blade Irons Carefully turn the motor assembly upside down and place it in one of the holes in the packaging. www.HunterFan.com Install a blade iron to the blade iron mounting plate using two blade iron assembly screws, found in the hardware bag. Light Kit www.HunterFan.com 1.888.830.1326 Light Kit Assembly Screw Partially install two light kit assembly screws, found in the hardware bag, halfway into the motor housing as shown. It does not matter which two screw holes you choose. Feed the 9-pin plug connector coming from the bottom of the motor housing through the center hole in the light kit assembly. Connect it to the plug connector found in the switch housing area of the light kit assembly.
www.HunterFan.com Light Kit (continued) Insert a third light kit assembly screw, found in the hardware bag, into place and tighten all three screws securely. Make sure the light kit assembly is securely attached to the motor housing. Failure to properly secure all three assembly screws could result in the light fixture falling. Carefully push all switch housing components into the switch housing, then install the switch housing plate using two light kit assembly screws, found in the hardware bag.
www.HunterFan.com Hanging the Fan Ceiling Plate Hook Ceiling Plate Hook Raise the fan and align the slots in the canopy with the hooks on the ceiling plate. Note: To hang the fan, you must tilt the canopy to an almost vertical position so that the canopy slots sit on the ceiling plate hooks. Place the slots over the ceiling plate hooks to hang the fan. www.HunterFan.com Canopy 1.888.830.1326 Ceiling Plate Hooks Canopy Screw Canopy Screw Screw Holes Swing the fan up to align the canopy screw holes with the mounting holes on the ceiling plate. Note: The slots in the canopy must remain engaged while swinging the canopy for alignment. Hold the canopy up with the screw holes aligned. Partially install two canopy screws, found in the hardware bag, into the holes opposite the ceiling plate hooks.
www.HunterFan.com Canopy (continued) Canopy Trim Ring Using both hands, push the canopy trim ring up to the top of the canopy. The canopy trim ring will snap and lock into place. Note: Should you need to remove the trim ring, press firmly on opposite sides of the trim ring. www.HunterFan.com Bulbs & Globe Tab Notch Install a bulb into each of the sockets. When necessary, replace with bulbs of the same wattage. Align the notches in the outer rim of the globe with the tabs on the light kit assembly. Carefully lift the globe up inside the light fixture as far as it will go. Remove and discard the plastic connectors from the ends of the short pull chains coming from the sides of the light kit assembly. Connect the appropriate pull chain pendant to each of the short chains. The fan pull chain controls the speed: from high to off. Unscrew the bulbs and replace them with bulbs of the same wattage. Reinstall the globe. Changing the direction of air flow - carefully remove the globe and move the reverse switch to the opposite position. www.HunterFan.com Troubleshooting Fan doesn’t work Excessive wobbling Noisy Operation • Make sure power switch is on. • Tighten all of the blade and blade iron screws until they are snug. • Tighten the blade and blade iron screws until they are snug. • Pull the pull chain to make sure it is on. • Push the motor reversing switch firmly left or right to ensure that it is engaged. • Check to see if any of the blades are cracked. If so, replace all of the blades.
