KEEP DISC D AR Time Saver Tip: Get a helper to insert grommets, found in the hardware bag, into the blades while you’re doing the next couple of steps. Remove the shipping blocks from the motor. Save the screws. They will be needed for blade iron installation. Note: Some fans will have a shipping ring instead of shipping blocks. Please remove the ring and save the screws.

The wires can be cut, but leave at least 8” extending from the top of the downrod. Hand tighten the downrod (at least 4-5 full turns) until it stops. 8” Tighten the setscrew with pliers. DO NOT HAND TIGHTEN. 3/8” If the setscrew is not tightened securely, the fan may fall.

www.HunterFan.com Canopy Screw Holes Position the canopy so that, when lifted into place, the canopy fits into the hanging bracket as shown. Blades www.HunterFan.com Remember the screws that you kept after removing the shipping blocks (page 6)? You need them plus four more from the hardware bag for this step. Insert grommets found in the hardware bag into the holes in the blades, then secure each blade to a blade iron with screws found in the hardware bag. Lightly attach the blade irons to the motor with screws found in the hardware bag, then securely tighten after both screws are attached.
Light Fixture www.HunterFan.com IMPORTANT Remove the cardboard plug guard before proceeding! Push the connector and excess wire into the hole at the top of the light fixture. IMPORTANT Connect the plugs from the fan and light fixture. Make sure to line up the colored markings on the connectors and that the connectors are latched together.

Give the fixture a gentle, counterclockwise turn to ensure the fixture is secure and that the locking pin has engaged. Hold the fan body stationary and rotate the light fixture clockwise to engage the locking pin. Raise the light kit to the bottom of the fan. Align the notch on the mounting ring on the top of the light kit with the pin in the mounting bracket on the bottom of the fan.
Light Fixture www.HunterFan.com 1.888.830.1326 CONGRA T YOU’REULATIONS! DONE! To install the shades, first loosen the thumb screws. Raise the shades to the light fixture. Tighten all thumbscrews securely. Install a bulb into each of the sockets. To access the battery compartment, remove the battery door from the transmitter assembly. The battery should be installed with the positive (+) side up. Replace with a CR2032 battery when necessary. Note: If your need to pair your remote, remove the battery door.
www.HunterFan.com Remote Control Cradle 1.888.830.1326 You have two options to install the included remote control cradle to the wall. Choose which path works best for you. Option 1: Using Screws Option 2: Using Adhesive Strip Choose your cradle installation location. Remove the cradle from the cradle bracket. If you are installing into drywall, drill two 9/64 width holes using the cradle bracket as a guide. Gently hammer the included drywall anchors into the pre-drilled holes.
Operation, Maintenance, and Cleaning www.HunterFan.com 1.888.830.1326 Light Button Fan Button Fan Control Fan Operation: Press and quickly release the fan button on the remote control to turn the fan OFF or ON. Use the fan control directional pad to raise or lower the fan to the desired speed. Press and hold the fan button to reverse the fan direction. Light Operation: Press and quickly release the light button on the remote control to turn the light OFF or ON.
www.HunterFan.com Troubleshooting Fan doesn’t work Excessive wobbling Noisy Operation • Make sure power switch is on. • Tighten all of the blade and blade iron screws until they are snug. • Tighten the blade and blade iron screws until they are snug. • Check the circuit breaker to ensure the power is turned on. • Make sure the blades spin freely. • Turn off power from the circuit breaker, then loosen the canopy and check all the connections according to the wiring diagram on pages 10-11.
