IBM ServicePac® is no longer subject to the Stock Rotation process and is therefore not returnable.
IBM ServicePac® is not returnable, and in case of wrong ordered P/N, exception-swap to correct P/N will only be considered within a 60 day
period from the date of purchase, subject to an admin charge of 8% of original invoice amount. This service announced 1st of March 2008.
A ServicePac are only valid in that country where the ServicePac has been purchased
Attention: For taxation reasons, all ServicePac orders must be processed and invoiced in the service provision country.
ServicePac for Warranty Service Upgrade should best be ordered at the same time as the hardware. In order to avoid loss in coverage-value,
it's recommended that purchase is done as close as possible to the Warranty start date, that due to the fact that Warranty Service Upgrade
begins and runs in parallel to normal Base Warranty. Service and typical response time are provided within 100 Km of an IBM Service Location
unless specified differently due to local limitations.
IBM Onsite Repair ( IOR ) limitations
The customer must provide fault information to IBM at the time of the customer call placement and provide diagnostic information to the
On-Site Technician. In extreme situations IBM may require to remove the Machine to complete the repair. IBM reserves the right not to deliver
service in Business premises (including Home / Office) if not found to be appropriate to safety or Electro-Static Discharge protection.
The Customer must provide a suitable working area to allow disassembly and reassembly of the Machine. The area must be clean, well lit
and suitable for the purpose.
