Use The iFit Sleep HR
Important Sensor Tips
The use of the sensor close to a source of vibration may have a negative effect on the accuracy of
measurements.
The sensor does not have a battery and must be left plugged in to operate. If it is not plugged in, or if a power
failure occurs, no sleep data will be collected.
Once the sensor has been paired with the iFit Sleep app on your iOS or Android device, the sensor will
automatically sync with your device any time the iFit Sleep app is active on your device and your device is
within about 30 feet of the sensor.
The sensor will be activated automatically when you lie down on your bed.
Important iOS or Android Device Tips
To use the iFit Sleep HR, you must have an iOS device (iPhone 4s and later) or an Android device (Android 4.3
and later) that supports BLUETOOTH 4.0 wireless technology.
Your device’s battery will be used more quickly while your device is receiving data from the sensor. It is
recommended that you leave your device connected to your charger while you sleep. If your device is not
connected and its battery drains, no data will be received.
BLUETOOTH must be activated on your device for data from the sensor to be received. If the BLUETOOTH
connection is lost, it will not be possible to retrieve any lost data.
You must enable Wi-Fi® or another data connection on your device to use some features of the iFit Sleep app
(see OVERVIEW OF THE IFIT SLEEP APP on page 7). Note that this will affect your device's data usage. If you
disconnect your device before you sleep, reconnect it after you wake up to use all of the features of the iFit
Sleep app.
