Insulation Piercing Connector offers

a breakaway torque nut that guarantees a perfect connection every time, no more

guesswork. It simply snaps off when UL torque requirements are met. The grease-ﬁlled

rubber end caps provide superior water and corrosion resistance, while the insulation-

piercing design eliminates downtime and power interruptions.

That translates into a 60% installed cost savings compared to split bolts. Installation is

easy; all you need is a standard socket or wrench. B-TAP

Connectors can be safely

installed on energized systems, eliminating power interruptions and downtime.

1. Select proper B-TAP

connector.

2. Position cables. No need to turn off power.

3. Tighten breakaway torque nut with a standard socket or wrench.
