described herein may contain design defects or errors known as errata which may cause the product to deviate from published

Products Affected
All Intel Server Chassis sub-assembly products.
Description
The product documents (Technical Product Specification, User’s Guide, Service Guide, etc.) on Resource CDs shipped
with Intel products may contain China Compulsory Certification (CCC) information. This information will be deemed
invalid from August 31, 2010, as the products will no longer have CCC certifications.
Root Cause
Due to recent China regulation changes, effective August 31, 2010, Intel will no longer obtain or sustain the China CCC
certifications on Intel’s server sub-assembly chassis products. These products do not fall into the scope or catalogue of
products requiring China CCC certifications; as these products are considered not fully integrated and are completely
non-operational (e.g. no peripheral drives, memory, processors, add-in cards, etc). Please contact your local Intel
representative if you have any questions regarding this.
Corrective Action / Resolution
Final integrated server system level product requires China Compulsory Certification (CCC) prior to importing into the
Peoples Republic of China. Customers will need to determine if their product is considered a final integrated product to
determine if CCC certification is required.
Please contact your Intel Sales Representative if you require more specific information about this issue.
