5. To connect it to the DVR, press the zone button and enter the ID number of
the TVR 41. The default value is “1”.
6. To configure the DVR zone ID number, at the DVR enter the Monitor screen
by selecting Display Mode Settings in the main menu, and then select
Monitor. Under Zone ID, enter the zone ID value. The default value is “1”.
Note: The zone ID value must be identical for the DVR and keypad.
The TVR 41 is now connected to the KTD-405 keypad.
TVR 41 and keypad functions
The KTD-405U acts as a DVR control keypad when connected to the TVR 41.
The keypad mimics many of the functions available from the front panel of the
TVR 41.
Unavailable TVR 41 functions
The following TVR 41 functions are unavailable when using the keypad to control
the TVR 41:
 Export video
 Shadow tour
 Select motion detection or tampering zones
 Archive records
 Capture video
If these functions are required, it is recommended to use a mouse in conjunction
with the keypad as all TVR 41 functions will then be available.
Unavailable keypad functions
The following keypad buttons are unavailable when using the keypad to control
the TVR 41:
