1/3-inch Format Varifocal

Overview
GE Security offers a complete line of 1/3-inch format lenses. Our
lenses are compact in size, while offering large apertures for superb
low-light performance. High-quality multicoated glass lens elements
provide excellent contrast and color rendition. Aspheric lens surfaces
on all models provide corner-to-corner image sharpness at all aperture
settings. All lenses feature metal CS mounts.
Outstanding Features
Lenses are available with manual or DC autoiris. When using a
manual iris lens, the iris is adjusted using a ring on the body of the
lens. The electronics within the camera automatically compensate for
any changes in luminosity.
If the camera is to be used in an outdoor situation, we recommend
using an autoiris lens. An automatic iris adjusts to compensate for
changes in light and incorporates a neutral density filter to provide
additional protection in bright light conditions.
Included in the varifocal line is a 2.7 mm to 13 mm day/night
lens–designed using special optical glass for extremely low chromatic
aberration–providing sharp round-the-clock surveillance without the
need for nighttime refocusing.
