We hope you will have as much fun using your IOGEAR Wireless-G Notebook Network Card, as we had designing it. ® Rest assured, your IOGEAR Wireless-G Notebook Network Card is built rock-solid to ensure maximum up-time for you to stay up-and-running.
. Installation ® NOTE: You must run the installation software before you install the IOGEAR 11g Network Adapter Card. Step. 1 Insert the IOGEAR CD-ROM into your computer's CD-ROM drive. A Window will pop-up, displaying the installation prompt. Step. 2 The Welcome screen - Click Next Step. 3 The Installation software will search your machine for any existing 802.11g installations. This is to ensure proper installation of the IOGEAR® 11g Network Adapter Cad.
Step. 4 Click finish. After the Installation software has completed setting up your machine, you may insert the IOGEAR® 11g Network Adapter Card into your notebook computer. The New Hardware Wizard will appear. Click Next. Step. 5 Windows will find the card in your machine. Select Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended), then click Next. Step. 6 Select only "Specify a location", then click Next.
Step. 7 Click the Browse button. Step. 8 Select the Look in pull-down menu, then select the IOGEAR CD-ROM. Step. 9 Select the Driver folder.
Step. 10 Select the .INF Driver, then select Open. Step. 11 Click OK. Step. 12 Windows will now install the IOGEAR® 11g Network Adapter Card.
Step. 13 You have completed the installation. Click Finish. Step. 14 Windows will now ask you to see a list of nearby, available networks. Click on the yellow balloon. Step. 15 Select which network you wish to use, then click Connect. Please refer to the manual in CD-ROM for operation details and wireless utilities.
