Use and Care Manual

Fireclay Sink
Care and Maintenance
Suggested Maintenance
Wash your sink regularly with warm, soapy water. As with any sink, make sure to use a non-abrasive
liquid cleaner or detergent and a soft cloth or non-abrasive woven nylon pad.
For daily cleaning, a warm water-soaked sponge with mild soap followed by warm water rinse is
recommended. Drying the sink afterwards with a soft cloth or towel will help to eliminate water spots and
maintain shine.
For deeper cleaning needs, a mildly abrasive cleaning product is recommended. For a greener clean,
try baking soda.
Note that these recommendations are for the fireclay sink only and do not refer to the faucet, drain, or
other hardware.
Towel dry after each use to prevent mineral deposit from building upon the surface of the sink. Water
quality can affect the appearance of your sink.
Read the labels on cleaning products to confirm they are recommended for use on the fireclay
Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads to clean/dry your sink
When pouring boiling water, always run cold water into sink and do not place hot pots or pans directly
onto the sink.
