be sure to
use the lips below when using
your
fingerprint
to authenticate
with the lock.

fingerprint is defined
as the
point
located within the inner
most recurving fidge. lt

imporlant
that this
area
is
identified,
and
placed
on the fingerprint
scanner during
the
enroflment and verifieation
of
,vour
fingerprint.

When
enrolling and verihTing with
your
fingerprint
it is irnportant that
your
finger be
clean. lt is also
recommend€d that
the finger be relatively
unciamageci
and
wiihoui
scars.
Hint:Washing
your
hands
with moisturizing soap
and using
hand
lotion
wifl also improve accuracy!
Tip4: Finger Placsment
When
placing your
finger on the scanner,
make
sure that the locaUon
of the'core', located
in Tip
2, is making dired
contact with the
scanner.
Apply medium
pressure,
orJust enough to
flatten

shift
managers. A
common use
is to
create a
pass
code
you
can
give
oul in case ofemergencies. For
exampb;
