changr the
bafreries?
On
the back
lock
body
(the
side of the lock
witrout
the scanner)
find
the
batery
cover. Take
the
screw
out & replam the batteries.

should I uss?
Any

AA batteries wilt work.
We
suggest
for
1st time users
get
brand
name
new batteries like Energizer
or Duracell.

How often should t change the batteries?

a conventional
home
seting
you
will be able to
get
several
thousand uses olrt of a sel of batteries. Though not required we do
rccommend
you
change battsries
at the same time
you
change them in
your
smoke detectors or when
you
change

clocks. lfs best to keep
the batteries
as fresh as
possible.

The Lock's
internal circuilry and scanner requircs a
good
source of
powerwhich
is
provided
by
the 4AA batteries. Even when the
audible
low
battery alarm
is
nst
enabled, occasionally the
tock
may not
perform
well due to insufficient
power.
Since the
intemal
power
mel€r cannot
always accurately determine
the
power
level of lhe batteries, it is
advised thatthe batteries are replaced
wiih fresh, name
brand
batteries
anytime a
decrease in lock
periormance
is noticed!

scanner

not
reading certaln fingerprints well:

Try re-enrolling
lhe user's
fingerprint. Ce*ain characteristlcs
of
a
fingerpint may change overtime requiring
re-enrollment.

hard! Pressing too strongly
