Quick Mode Guard
The PS Quick mode can be configured in database programming so that you get a dial tone (right after
you pick up the portable station from the charger) without pressing [Send]. However, the line will be
automatically disconnected if Quick Mode Guard is ON and if you do not press any key for 30 seconds
after you pick up the portable station from the charger.
1. When the portable station is idle, press [Menu] [5] [3]
to bring up the Quick Mode Guard menu.
2. Press [Menu].
3. Press [ ] or [ ] to select ON or OFF.
4. Press [Menu].
You will hear a confirmation tone, and the portable station
will go back to the idle state.
