Beaded Porch Panels
HardieSoffit Beaded Porch
Panel must be attached to
either steel or wood normal
2x4 framing members
spaced a maximum 24 in on
center. All edges must be
supported by framing.
There are several ways to treat the joints of HardieSoffit beaded porch panels.
The panel edges can be butted in moderate contact, leave a gap and caulk; or
joints can be covered with Hardietrim batten strips.
TIP: Stainless steel fasteners are
recommended when installing James
Hardie products near the ocean, large
bodies of water, or in very humid climates.
TIP: Do not use finish nails for HardieSoffit
beaded porch panel installation.
