This manual is intended to assist in the initial installation and adjustments of the range.
Only qualified personnel should install or service this range.
Read "Safety Instructions" in Use & Care book before using range.
Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service, maintenance or use of range
can result in serious injury or property damage.

Thisrangehas beendesigned in accordancewith the
requirementsof varioussafety agenciesand complies
with the maximumallowable woodcabinet
temperatures of 194°EIf this range is installed with
cabinetsthat havea lower working temperature than
194°F,discoloration,delamination or melting may occur.
Placerange in a well lit area.Donot set range over
holes in the floor or other locationswhere it may be
subject to strong drafts. Any opening in the wa I behind
the rangeandin the floor underthe range should be
sealed.Makesure the flow of cooling/ventilationair is
not obstructed below the range. Note:A rangeshould
NOTbe installed over kitchen carpeting.
HighAltitudeNotice:The specified gas burner ratings
,Arisk of range tip-over exists if the appliance is not installed in accordance with the
provided installation instructions. The proper use of the ANTI-TIPdevice minimizes
the risk of TIP-OVER.In using this device the consumer must still observethe safety
precautionsas stated in the USEand CAREMANUALand avoid usingthe ovendoors
as astep stool. Installation instructions are provided for wood and cement in either
floor or wall. Any other type of construction may require special installation
techniques as deemed necessaryto provide adequate fastening of the ANTI-TIP
bracketto the floor or wall. The bracket may be installed to engage the LEFTor
RIGHTrear leveling foot. NOTE:The bracket provided is designed for use with flush
mount and non-flush mount outlet receptacles. Install the bracket with the
orientation hole in the longer leg against the wall or floor as shown in steps 14-19.
MOBILEHOMES
The installation of a rangedesigned for mobile home installation must conform with
the Manufactured HomeConstruction and Safety Standard,Title24 CFR,Part 3280
(formerly the Federal Standardfor Mobile Home Constructionand Safety,Title24
HUD,Part280)or,when such standardis not applicable,the Standardfor Manufactured
Home InstallationsANSIA225.1/NFP,A501,A,or with local codes. In Canadathe range
must be installed in accordancewith the current CS,AStandardC22.1 - Canadian
Electrical Code Part 1and Section Z240.4.1 - Installation Requirementsfor Gas
Burning,Appliancesin MobilHomes(CS,AStandard C,AN/CS,A- Z240MH).

RECREATIONALPARKTRAILERS
The installation of a rangedesigned for recreational park trailers must conform with
state or other codes or,in the absenceof such codes, with the Standard for
RecreationalPark Trailers,ANSI,A119.5-latestedition. InCanadathe range must be
installed in accordance with C,AN/CS,A- Z240.6.2 - Electrical Requirementsfor R.V.'s
(CS,AStandard C,AN/CS,A- Z240 RVSeries)and SectionZ240.4.2 - Installation

ElectricalSupply Connection

trippingif Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCl)outletor breaker is inuse.

Thisrangerequiresa singlephasethree wire 120/240or a 120/208volt,60 Hz,AC
circuit.Wiring codes requirea separatecircuit be runfrom the main entrancepanelto
the range andthat it be equippedwith separatedisconnectswitch and fuses,either in
the mainentrancepanelor in a separateswitch and fuse box.
Theelectricalconnectionto this unitisdesignedonly forusewith a flexiblepowercord.All
