BURNERGRATES= PORCELAIN
ON CAST iRON
• Allow grates to cool.
• Wash grateswith warm, soapy water and
a nonabrasive, plastic scrubbing pad. For
stubborn soils, clean with a soap-filled,
nonabrasive pad or Cooktop Cleaning
Creme CPart#20000001)_ and a sponge.
Ifsoil remains, reapply Cooktop Cleaning
Creme, cover with a damp paper towel
and soak for 30 minutes. Scrub again,
rinse and dry.

Removable Burner Caps
• Allow burner to cool. Removeburner cap
and wash in soapy water with a plastic
scouring pad. For stubborn soils, clean
with a soap-filled, nonabrasive pad or

Sealed Gas Burner
• Cleanafter each use.Allow burner to cool.
Cleanwith soap and plastic scouring pad.
For stubborn soils, clean with a soap-
filled, nonabrasive pad.
• Becareful not to get water into the center
of the burner.
• Usecare when cleaning the ignitor. If the
ignitor is wet or damaged the surface
burner will not light.
• To ensure evencooking performance, keep
burner ports free of food soils/debris.
CONTROL KNOBS

Remove knobs in the OFF position by
pulling up.
Wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or
abrasivepads as theymayscratch the finish.
Do not soak.
Knobs may be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Remove any water marks with hot soapy
water to prevent permanent stains.
After replacing the knobs, turn on each
burner to be sure the knobs have been
correctly replaced.
COOKTOP - GLASS-CERAMIC
Never use oven cleaners, chlorine bleach,
ammonia or glass cleaners with ammonia.
NOTE."Callan authorized servicer ff the glass-
ceramic top should crack,break or if metal or
aluminum foil should melt on the cooktop.
* Allow the cooktop to cool before
cleaning.
* General - Clean cooktop after each use,
with a damp paper towel and Cooktop
Cleaning Creme CPartNo. 20000001)_.
Then, buff with a clean dry cloth.
NOTE: Permanentstains will develop ff soil
is allowed to cook on by repeatedly using
the cooktop when soiled.
. Heavy Soils or Metal Marks - Dampen
a"scratchless" or"never scratch" scrubber
sponge. Apply Cooktop Cleaning Creme_
[Part No. 20000001)_ andscrub to remove
as much soil as possible.Apply athin layer
of the creme over the soil, cover with a
damp paper towel and let stand 30-45
minutes (2-3 hours for very heavy solD.
Keep moist by covering the paper towel
with plastic wrap. Scrub again, then buff
with a clean dry cloth.
NOTE: Only use a CLEAN, DAMP
"scratchless" pad that is safe for non-
stick cookware. Thepattern and glass
will be damaged if the pad is not
damp, if thepad is soiled, or if another
type of pad is used.
Burned-on or Crusty Soils - Scrub
with a "scratchless" or "never scratch"
scouring pad and Cooktop Cleaning
Creme _. Hold a razor blade
scraper at 300 angle and
scrape any remaining
soil.Then,clean
as described
above.
Melted Sugar or
Plastic - Immediately turn burner OFF
and allow to cool. Clean residue with
razor bladescraperand Cooktop Cleaning
Creme_.
COOk'TOP - STAINLESS STEEL
[SELECT MODELS}
• BONOTUSEANYCLEANINGPRODUCT
CONTAINING CHLORINE BLEACH.
• ALWAYSWIPEWITHTHEGRAINWHEN
CLEANING.
• Daily Cleaning/Light Soil -- Wipe with
one of the following - soapy water, white
vinegar/water solution, Formula 409 Glass
and Surface Cleane¢ or a similar glass
cleaner- using asponge orsoft cloth. Rinse
and dry. To polish and help prevent
fingerprints, follow with Stainless Steel
Magic Spray (Jenn-Air Model A912, Part
No.20000008__.
• Moderate/Heavy Soil -- Wipe with one
ofthe following- BonAmP,SmartCleanse€,
or Soft Scrub_ - using a damp sponge or
soft cloth. Rinse and dry. Stubborn soils
may be removed with a damp Scotch-
Brite_pad; rub evenly with the grain. Rinse
and dry. To restore luster and remove
streaks, follow with Stainless Steel Magic
Spray.
• Discoloration -- Using a damp sponge
or soft cloth, wipe with Cameo Stainless
Steel Cleane¢. Rinseimmediatelyand dry.
