CONNECTING THE WATER SUPPLY
IMPORTANT:
■ Plumbing shall be installed in accordance with
the International Plumbing Code and any local
codes and ordinances.
■ Use copper tubing or JennAir supply line, Part
Number 8212547RP, and check for leaks.
■ Install tubing only in areas where temperatures
will remain above freezing.
Turn off main water supply. Turn on nearest faucet
line long enough to clear line of water.

Using a minimum 1/2" copper tubing with a
quarter turn shut-off valve or the equivalent
supply line, connect the ice maker as
shown.

Use 1/4" (6.35 mm) O.D. soft copper tubing
with square cut ends for the cold water
supply. Slip the compression sleeve and nut
onto the copper tubing. Be sure that you
have the proper length needed for the job.

Insert end of tubing squarely into outlet end
as far as it will go. Screw compression nut
onto outlet end with adjustable wrench.
