27. Do not make a cut which exceeds the capacities
of the abrasive saw as shown in the
specifications section of this manual.
28. Use recommended accessories; improper
accessories may be hazardous.
29. Maintain tools with care. Keep blades sharp and
clean for the best and safest performance.
Follow instructions for lubricating and changing
accessories.
30. Make sure the work piece is securely clamped
to the table. Never use your hand to hold the
work piece.
31. Make sure blade is not contacting workpiece
when machine is started.
32. Turn off the machine and disconnect from
power before cleaning. Use a cloth or brush to
remove chips or debris — do not use bare
hands.
33. Do not stand on the machine. Serious injury
could occur if the machine tips over.
34. Never leave the machine running unattended.
Turn the power off and do not leave the
machine until it comes to a complete stop.
35. Remove loose items and unnecessary work
pieces from the area before starting the
machine.
36. For circuits which are far away from the
electrical service box, the wire size must be
increased in order to deliver ample voltage to
the motor. To minimize power losses and to
prevent motor overheating and burnout, the use
of wire sizes for branch circuits or electrical
extension cords according to Table 1 (sect. 6.3)
is recommended.
