Introduction
This manual is provided by JET, covering the safe operation and maintenance procedures for a JET
Model J-9225 zip-miter bandsaw. This manual contains instructions on installation, safety precautions,
general operating procedures, maintenance instructions and parts breakdown. This machine has been
designed and constructed to provide consistent, long-term operation if used in accordance with

The JET Model J-9225 bandsaw is designed for medium production cut-off work. Two cutting speeds and
a hydraulic feed control allow the efficient cutting of virtually any material.
The Model J-9225 bandsaw is equipped with a coolant system which can greatly extend blade life and
speed the cutting of a variety of materials which are best cut with cutting fluids and coolants.
