• If soil is dry, water thoroughly before inserting.
• Use three (3) spikes for every two (2) inches (5.0 centimeters) diameter of tree trunk measured at chest height.
• With plastic driving cap, tap spikes into ground, spaced evenly at tree's dripline. (Dripline is directly below the
ends of the tree's longest branches.)
• When spike is even with ground, remove cap and continue to tap spike to at least
two (2) inches (5.0 centimeters) below soil surface. Use of protective eyewear is
suggested. Note: Never insert spikes closer than two (2) feet (60 cm) from tree trunk.
If dripline is less than 2 feet, insert at 2 feet from trunk.
• Best results are obtained with three yearly applications: spring, mid-summer and fall.
• Store in dry place and use soon after purchase.

• Si le sol est sec, bien arroser avant d'insérer.
• Utiliser trois (3) bâtons pour chaque 5 cm de diamétre du tronc de l'abre, mesurés á Ia hauteur de Ia poitrine.
• A l'aide du capuchon en plastique, enfoncer les bâtons dans le sol en les espaçant unifornément á Ia ligne d'égouttement
de l'arbre. (La ligne d'égouttement se trouve directement sous les extrémités des branches les plus longues de l'arbre.)
• Lorsque le bâton est au ras du sol, enlever le capuchon et continuer à enfoncer le bâton jusqu'â au moins 5.0 centimètres
sous Ia surface du sol. L'utilisation de lunettes protectrices est recommandée. Note: Ne jamais insérer les bâtons à moins
de 60 cm du tronc de l'arbre. Si Ia ligne d'ègouttement est à moins de 60 cm, insérer à 60 cm du tronc.
• Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats, faire trois applications par an: au printemps, au milieu de l'été et à l'automne.
• Ranger dans un endroit sec et utiliser peu de temps aprés l'achat.
• Ces niveaux de fertilisation ne sont indiqués que pour l'entretien des plantas.
