6. Loosen nut (D) and remove spring (E).
7. Remove lock nuts (F).
8. Remove handle assembly (G) and spring anchor bracket (H).

9. Remove lock nut and carriage bolt (I).
10. Remove lock nut (J) from stud (K) on top side of deck and remove
deector (L).
11. X300/X500 export only: Install hardware into any exposed holes
that remain in deck after removal of MulchControl™ kit.
12. ZTrak™ export only: Reinstall cover plate.
Storing MulchControl™
Clean and store all MulchControl™ parts in a clean, dry place.

Removing MulchControl™ (48 Inch Accel Deep™
Decks)
Removing MulchControl™
1. Remove mower deck. (See Removing Mower section in Vehicle/
Mower Deck Operator Manual).
2. For X700 48 in. Accel Deep™ European mowers only, remove
right belt shield.
CAUTION: Avoid injury! Blades are sharp. Always wear
gloves when handling blades or working near blades.
Replace blades if defective. Never straighten or weld them.
3. Remove mulch blades.

4. Remove M6 bolt (A) and lock nut (B).
5. Remove M8 carriage bolt (C) and lock nut (D).
6. Remove stop plate (E) from discharge area.
