10. Remove lock nut (K) from carriage bolt.
11. Remove right side deector (L).

12. On top side of deck, remove lock nut (M) from deector stud.
13. Release front tabs (N) from front deck bafe and remove left side
deector (O).
14. X700 export only: Install hardware into any exposed holes that
remain in deck after removal of MulchControl™ kit.
15. ZTrak™ export only: Reinstall cover plate.
Storing MulchControl™
Clean and store all MulchControl™ parts in a clean, dry place.

Removing MulchControl™
1. Remove mower deck. (See Removing Mower section in Vehicle/
Mower Deck Operator Manual).
CAUTION: Avoid injury! Blades are sharp. Always wear
gloves when handling blades or working near blades.
Replace blades if defective. Never straighten or weld them.
2. Remove mulch blades.

3. Remove M6 bolt (A) and lock nut (B).
4. Remove M8 carriage bolt (C) and lock nut (D).
5. Remove stop plate (E) from discharge area.
CAUTION: Avoid injury! Components are installed under
spring tension. Wear eye protection and use proper tools
when installing and removing components with spring
tension.

6. Loosen nut (F) and remove spring (G).
7. Remove lock nuts (H).
8. Remove handle assembly (I) and spring anchor bracket (J).

9. Remove lock nut (K) from carriage bolt.
10. Remove right side deector (L).
